From the musical comedy stage production of Fritzi, his song A One man women (1935) is documented at the U.S. Library of Congress. Early life and education He was born in New York City in 1905. He studied at Badia College in Florence, Italy and graduated from the Vienna Academy of Music, which is now the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna.
