Albertina Fredrika “Ika” Peyron, née Asp (1 July 1845 – 15 March 1922) was a Swedish composer, pianist and organist. She wrote songs as well as compositions for violin, piano and solo songs. Some of her pieces are still played, especially compositions for marching bands. Life Ika Peyron was born in Timrå, Västernorrland, and was the foster child of the merchant Anton Asp, who wished her to have a profession and gave her a good education. Asp wished for her to become a medical doctor, but she was early on focused on music. She was educated as a pianist in Stockholm and a student of Louise Engström, Ivar Hallström, , Emil Sjögren and Anton Andersen. She also studied in London. She attempted to compose but gave up because of the poor attitude toward female composers. Ivar Hallström dedicated three piano pieces to Peyron. Ikuma Dan

was a Japanese composer. Dan was born in Tokyo, the descendant of a prominent family, his grandfather Baron Dan Takuma having been President of Mitsui before being assassinated in 1932. He graduated from Aoyama Gakuin and Tokyo Music School in 1946. He studied with teachers including Kosaku Yamada, Kunihiko Hashimoto, Kan’ichi Shimofusa, Saburō Moroi, and Midori Hosokawa. During his career he completed six symphonies, all recorded and released on the Decca label in Japan, and wrote seven operas as well as a number of filmscores, and many songs. He wrote celebratory music for the Japanese imperial family, actively promoted cultural exchange with China (from 1979 until his death in Suzhou, China, in 2001), and received the commission to write an opera (Takeru) for the 1997 opening of the New National Theatre, Tokyo, Japan’s main opera house. Dan is known in Japan for his 1951 opera Yūzuru (Twilight Crane), which is regularly revived there. Ikurō Fujiwara

is a Japanese pianist, composer, conductor and musical producer signed under Being Inc. He is Pops Executive Producer in the Pacific Philharmonia Tokyo orchestra. Biography Ikurō started learning piano and composing from an early age. He studied composition under Yoshio Hasegawa, Akira Kitamura, Hajime Kaburagi, Kiyohiko Kishima, and Tsuyoshi Yanagisawa; piano under Shihoko Uno, Kazuko Yasukawa, Michiko Jackson; conducting under Shigenobu Yamaoka and Konstantin D. Crimets. In 1976, Ikurō graduated from “Nihon University College of Art”. In 1980s, his name appeared in the credit list of the various albums of the artist as arranger and keyboardist. At the beginning of 90’s, he would focus his career more into composing and arranging music for the video gameseries Wizardry. In 1996, he was member of the Japanese band W’s as keyboardist, composer and arranger. From 1998, he has been active as an orchestral conductor and arranger for symphonic live series started firstly for Akina Nakamori, in the recent years by public well known for Mai Kuraki, Aska and Luna Sea.
