Peppe Barra

Giuseppe “Peppe” Barra (born 24 July 1944) is an Italian folk singer, actor, playwright and composer. Life and career Born in Rome into a family of Procidan actors, when he was only six years old Barra enrolled in an acting school for children, the Teatrino di Zietta Liù. In 1976, he got his personal breakout as main actor in the De Simone’s stage musical La Gatta Cenerentola. In 1992, he made his solo discographic debut with Mo vene, for which he won the Targa Tenco for Best Performer. His variegated career also include films and television.
