Objective
Identify treble-clef line and space notes by reading from landmarks instead of relying only on mnemonics.
One concept
The treble clef curls around the second line, establishing that line as G4. From G, move one staff position for each letter-name step. The spaces then read F–A–C–E, but the landmark method still works when ledger lines appear.
Independent check
Common mistake
Counting every note from the bottom line is slow and error-prone. Re-anchor on G, then read by nearby step or skip.
